Q: What businesses do you provide your services too?
A: My past experience as a employee and professional combined with the courses I have attended have provided me with the skill set required to develop processes and guide any business in the field of program development, training, and continuous improvement for their future business success.
Q: What is a work unit?
A: Work units are sub groups or teams within a company or organization that perform specific functions. Example the restaurant business has Purchasing, Food Preparations, Hospitality, Maintenance and Accounting, all are work units that go into forming the restaurant business.
Q: What is the importance of having a structured employee on-boarding and training program?
A: By providing employees with a job description that clearly states their specific contribution within the organization or work unit combined with training employees to that job description helps employees understand the specifics around their role and minimizes their learning curve therefore increasing employees contribution and productivity immediately.
Q: Why is it necessary to measure and communicate employees productivity and performance?
A: Setting benchmark targets and regular monitoring of employee productivity and performance is the key to any company’s success. This critical information is used as a tool to continuously improve processes, people or products, also provides each work unit with the insight to course correct or celebrate individual or team milestones.
Q: Why do you recommend regular performance reviews with employees?
A: Simple fact is employees want to hear what the company thinks about their individual performance or contribution however most companies don’t feel it necessary to communicate this information regularly but rather only when the employee is not performing up to company expectations. It’s always better for companies to conduct regular performance reviews with their employees pointing out the areas that need improvement and areas where the employee excels. This strategy also allows management an opportunity to build an action plan with specific timelines that has the employee onside and willing to uphold.
